Information Panelingo collects
Panelingo does not require an account and does not collect advertising identifiers, contacts, precise location, browsing history, comic images, recognized text, or translated text. To operate purchases and measure app activity, our purchase service receives a randomly generated device identifier together with the app version, build, selected app language, time zone, system version, device model, and country or region. This identifier is stored in Apple Keychain and is not an advertising identifier.
Photos and comic pages
You choose specific images through Apple’s photo picker. Panelingo uses those selected images to build your local comic collections and translations. It does not receive unrestricted read access to your photo library, and selected pages are not sent to us. If you choose to save a translated page, Panelingo requests add-only Photos access and writes only the page you selected.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. To verify a transaction and restore your access, Panelingo sends our purchase service the random device identifier, app bundle identifier, Apple transaction identifier, and StoreKit environment. The service stores purchase status and entitlement information so Pro access can remain consistent across launches and eligible devices. We do not receive your payment-card details.
Translation and downloaded languages
Translation is provided by Apple’s system translation service on your device. Apple may download language resources when a language is used for the first time. Those system services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Panelingo does not receive the text or images processed by that service.
Storage and deletion
Your collections, originals, completed pages, and corrections are stored locally in the app’s data container. You can remove individual collections inside Panelingo. Deleting the app may also delete its local library, so keep copies of original pages you wish to preserve.
Retention and deletion
Purchase and activity records are retained as needed to maintain entitlements, prevent duplicate grants, support refunds, comply with legal obligations, and operate the service. To request deletion of service-side device metadata where legally permitted, contact us using the address below. Local comic content can be removed inside Panelingo or by deleting the app.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell or rent personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising. Purchase processing involves Apple and our purchase-verification service. We may disclose limited records when required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect the service and its users. We cannot access or disclose your comic library because it is not uploaded to us.
Children’s privacy
Panelingo is not designed to collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise the selection and translation of age-appropriate content.

Our website may link to the App Store or email application. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If Panelingo’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the new practices take effect. The effective date above will identify the latest revision.
