By downloading or using Panelingo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Panelingo is an on-device tool for organizing comic images, creating translated versions, reading completed pages, and correcting translated text. Features may depend on your device, operating system, installed language resources, and content quality.
2. Permission to use Panelingo
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Panelingo in accordance with these terms and the applicable App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, rent, or distribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
3. Your content and rights
You retain any rights you hold in images and corrections you add to Panelingo. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to import, translate, reproduce, or share that content. Panelingo does not grant rights to manga, comics, artwork, characters, or other third-party material.
- Do not use Panelingo to infringe copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
- Do not use translated output to misrepresent authorship, ownership, or official publication status.
- Follow the laws and contractual restrictions that apply where you live.
4. Translation results
Automated translation and text placement can contain errors, omissions, or unintended wording. Review important dialogue before relying on it or sharing it. Panelingo is a reading aid and is not suitable for legal, medical, safety-critical, or other high-stakes translation.
5. Apple services and the App Store
Panelingo relies on services provided by Apple, including the App Store, photo picker, and system translation capabilities. Their availability and behavior are controlled by Apple and may change independently of Panelingo. Your use of those services is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms.
6. Panelingo Pro subscriptions
Panelingo offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. The price shown in the app is supplied by the App Store and may vary by country or region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Apple charges renewal to your Apple Account within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can view, change, or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Panelingo does not cancel a subscription.
- Billing, cancellation, and refund requests are administered by Apple and remain subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
7. Local data and backups
Your app library is stored locally. You are responsible for keeping copies of original images and any material you cannot replace. Deleting the app, resetting the device, storage failure, or software changes may result in data loss.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Panelingo to violate law, harm others, bypass access controls, distribute malicious content, interfere with the app, or attempt unauthorized access to related systems.
9. Updates and availability
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that Panelingo will always be available, compatible with every device, or support every language or page style.
10. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panelingo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IAMDEV will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost content, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of Panelingo. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app or applicable requirements change. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continuing to use Panelingo after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
